Regulatory Assistant

Porzio Life Sciences seeks a full-time, entry-level REGULATORY ASSISTANT  for our Morristown, New Jersey office.  Regulatory Assistants collaborate with team members for the regular maintenance of PorzioLS' products and the performance of compliance services.  Other responsibilities include assistance with product maintenance, quality control, compliance projects, development of professional presentations, and involvement in the marketing of PorzioLS products and services. The ideal candidate will be a bright, energetic individual with strong verbal, written and analytical skills. In addition to solid organizational skills, this person must have a bachelor’s degree, and working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Regulatory Analyst, Aggregate Spend Services

Porzio Life Sciences seeks a full-time, Regulatory Analyst for our Morristown, New Jersey office. The Regulatory Analyst ("RA") works on the PorzioLS Transparency Services team providing  U.S. transparency services to customers.  In particular, the RA will work directly with PorzioLS customers subscribing to Porzio AggregateSpendID, our US aggregate spend reporting tool, to implement and support the tool and their data and reporting processes. The RA will also participate in projects related to and provide compliance guidance to customers on the laws, regulations, and supporting guidances impacting federal, state, and local transparency reporting in the U.S.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders in the provision of the services and customer support.
  • Services: Support customer projects, including: (1) providing project management and compliance guidance while interacting directly with customers; (2) providing timely and practical advice and support for questions and concerns regarding U.S. aggregate spend compliance and product utilization; (3) facilitate the Federal and state reporting process; and (3) providing basic technical and data support.
  • Regulatory Expertise: Demonstrate (or develop within 6 months) a deep understanding of US aggregate spend requirements and operations.
  • Project Management: Participate in multiple concurrent projects with independent timelines and deliverables; oversee and independently manage projects or core components of projects in collaboration with team members and report on status weekly.
  • Data and Technology: Perform analysis on flat files and on data within applications; effectively leverage tools such as Notepad, Excel and Access to review, analyze and modify data sets.
  • Marketing: Support marketing initiatives through participation in product demonstrations, conference attendance and preparation of RFPs and proposals.

 

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience working in or with life sciences companies in at least one of the following areas: global commercial compliance, sales/commercial operations, or aggregate spend/transparency reporting. Alternatively, candidates may have significant technical or customer support experience in order to qualify.
  • Knowledge of the various U.S. laws and codes related to life sciences sales and marketing practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Prior experience in business/customer facing role and customer support.

  • Prior project management experience.

Regulatory Assistant, Aggregate Spend Services

Porzio Life Sciences seeks a full-time Regulatory Assistant for our Morristown, New Jersey office. The Regulatory Assistant works on the PorzioLS Transparency Services team providing U.S. transparency compliance services to customers.  In particular, the Regulatory Assistant will work directly with the PorzioLS team that oversees customer aggregate spend and samples data and reporting processes, providing: assistance with extracting data from financial systems, performing manual and bulk data remediation, assistance with data formatting and data research.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Partner with multiple internal teams in the provision of customer services and support. 
  • Services: Support customer projects, including: (1)obtaining, standardizing and loading data sets from Excel and financial system into online applications, (2) assessing small and large data sets and making recommendations for remediation, (3) generating and analyzing reports in order to inform data remediation processes, and (4) executing data remediation plans.
  • Project Management: Demonstrate the ability to manage priorities between multiple concurrent projects with independent timelines and deliverables; complete projects in collaboration with team members; and report on status daily and weekly.
  • Data and Technology: Perform analysis on flat files and spreadsheets and on data within applications; effectively leverage tools such as Notepad, Excel and Access to review, analyze and modify data sets.

Compliance Services Assistant

(HOURS 12 p.m. to 8 p.m.)

Porzio Life Sciences seeks a full-time COMPLIANCE SERVICES ASSISTANT for our Morristown, New Jersey office, to work Monday through Friday, from 12pm - 8pm. The ideal candidate will be a friendly self-starter with excellent judgment and strong Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills. This energetic, organized individual must be comfortable managing multiple priorities, while working independently with limited supervision.

Responsibilities will include:

•Assistance with clerical and organizational aspects of product and file maintenance;

•Customer service duties, including direct telephone support of customers; and

•Administrative support of team members on special projects as needed.
