Essential Functions:

Regulatory Analyst

Porzio Life Sciences seeks a full-time, Regulatory Analyst (or Senior Analyst depending on qualifications) for our Morristown, New Jersey office. The Regulatory Analyst ("RA") works on the PorzioLS Transparency Services team, providing services to customers to support their compliance with global transparency laws and codes.

The RA will work directly with PorzioLS customers subscribing to our transparency reporting tools. This includes serving as a project manager and/or compliance specialist on implementations, providing customer support services for the tool and customers' compliance questions, and supporting customers' data and reporting processes. Transparency Services team members also support internal product development, customer support initiatives, compliance research, and other transparency compliance initiatives. In addition, the RA may work with customers to prepare manually transparency reports, as well as providing data remediation and support services. This includes reviewing and analyzing data from various spend sources, loading and/or remediating data files, and reviewing final jurisdictional compliance output reports for accuracy and completeness. The RA will also participate in projects by providing compliance guidance to customers on the laws, codes, regulations, and supporting guidances impacting global transparency reporting.

Candidates with prior experience using, designing or supporting compliance tools or software and candidates with prior experience in pharmaceutical and medical device companies are strongly encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaboration: Partner with multiple internal and external stakeholders in the provision of the services and customer support.

Business Development and Marketing Manager

Position Summary:

The Business Development and Marketing Manager – Life Sciences is a core member of the Business Development and Marketing team and is responsible for leading and executing the ongoing business development and marketing efforts for the Life Sciences industry for Porzio Life Sciences, LLC, and Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, LLP. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this position will provide strategic guidance and execute business development and marketing initiatives identified to achieve specific business development, marketing, and client retention and expansion objectives for the life sciences businesses.

Primary responsibilities include:

Porzio Life Sciences – Working in collaboration with the broader Porzio marketing team, serve as lead marketer for the development and execution of all aspects of marketing for the Porzio Life Sciences business including:

  • Build and sustain "trusted marketing advisor" relationships with all internal clients and stakeholders by providing innovative ideas and outstanding client service to the Porzio Life Sciences leadership team and others.
  • Digital Marketing. Develop and implement industry-specific digital marketing campaigns to support product launches, sales efforts, and ongoing customer engagements.
  • Work with team to develop sophisticated content strategies to leverage existing content and develop new content to advance Porzio brand in the life sciences market.
  • Facilitate and leverage internal and external speaking engagements, sponsorships, events, webinars, and other opportunities by negotiating and successfully executing conference sponsorships, including pre-conference marketing, internal coordination, post-conference marketing, and repurposing of content.
  • Develop go-to-market strategies in key life sciences markets, including events, development of target lists, and brand exposure.
  • Develop customized responses to pitches, proposals, and RFPs and other marketing collateral for new business opportunities and client meetings.
  • Contribute to cross-selling efforts by understanding the intersection of Porzio Life Sciences and Porzio, Bromberg & Newman.
  • Monitor industry and trade organizations for upcoming events, speaking engagements, opportunities for thought leadership, and sponsorships.
  • Work with designated teams and proactively lead and execute communication strategies related to internal and external communications, including client alerts, posted articles, and email marketing.
  • Manage all aspects of life sciences marketing and communications, including developing collateral, articles and client alerts, PR and media strategy, drafting of content, and maintaining targeted email marketing lists.
  • Work with practice group leaders to manage the day-to-day aspects of business development and marketing, including tracking and approving related expenses and developing and ongoing reporting on business development and marketing budgets.
  • Work with life sciences attorneys at the firm to create and execute all aspects of business development and marketing efforts, as described above.
  • Develop market specific plans in key geographies to drive law firm revenue from life sciences clients, including the development of the market and region-specific plans, proposals, and pitches for legal work, etc.
  • Work to advance the overall Porzio brand in the life sciences compliance and legal market by creating and executing compelling marketing and business development strategies.

 Position Skills and Requirements: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree from a four-year accredited college or university required, MBA/JD a plus;
  • 5-7 years of business development and marketing experience in life sciences, pharmaceutical, compliance, software industry;
  • Superior written communication, oral communication, and presentation skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, provide excellent internal client service, and be comfortable delivering under pressure in a team-focused environment 
  • Understanding of the life sciences / pharmaceutical industry and experience in developing go-to-market strategies and messaging for software and service-oriented products;
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively lead initiatives and identify opportunities, enhance products, and make connections throughout the sales cycle.

The duties of the Business Development and Marketing Manager include, but are not limited to, those listed above. The Business Development and Marketing Manager may be assigned responsibility for other projects deemed necessary by the CMO and firm management.
