SHARON O. SMALL is a Director of Regulatory and Compliance Services for Porzio Life Sciences, LLC. Sharon collaborates with company directors, managers, and regulatory professionals to ensure that the content of our products and services are relevant to the industry.
Sharon is also a counsel of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman P.C. and a member of the firm’s Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Department. In her capacity with the law firm, she concentrates her practice on counseling pharmaceutical, medical device and biotech clients on regulatory and compliance issues related to the sales, marketing and reimbursement of marketed products. She reviews promotional content and medical communications, develops standard operating procedures and policies and supports clients’ compliance initiatives.
Sharon has experience negotiating, drafting and reviewing pre-clinical and clinical stage agreements including material transfer agreements, laboratory services and clinical trial agreements. She also has experience negotiating, drafting and reviewing commercial agreements, including manufacturing, supply, development, distribution, consulting and other fee-for-service arrangements common in the life sciences industry. Prior to joining the company, Sharon worked at ConvaTec, Inc. and Merck & Co., Inc.
Ms. Small received a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania, 1996 and her Bachelor of Science in Business Management, magna cum laude, 1993 from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey.
