Porzio Life Sciences is pleased to welcome Sara R. Simon as an Associate of Compliance Services. In this role, she counsels life sciences companies on a variety of compliance issues, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, FDA promotional regulations, industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals, and sampling requirements.
Sara also joins the law firm of Porzio, Bromberg & Newman, P.C. as an Associate to the Life Sciences Compliance and Regulatory Counseling Department. She broadly assists in the development of compliance programs for companies governing the sale and marketing of drugs and counsels life sciences companies on a variety of compliance issues, including federal and state fraud and abuse laws, FDA promotional regulations, and industry standards regarding interactions with healthcare professionals.
Sara completed her J.D. degree at the Seton Hall University School of Law in Newark, New Jersey, and the Seton Hall Law US Healthcare Compliance Certification Program. She earned a B.A., cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst.
